Poppy Photography are based in Aboyne, Royal Deeside, a beautiful area in the North East of Scotland ... the perfect inspiration for our botanical prints and canvases . Created and managed by graphic designer Joanne MacRae, Poppy Photography was initially set up with sole purpose of creating unique and beautiful images to grace her own walls. Such was the positive response from friends and family ~ Poppy Photography was created.

Our collection of photographic prints and canvases follow a botanical theme and have been taken mainly in Scotland. As time goes by no doubt we will seek inspiration further afield ...

As these flowers and plants have a beauty of their own, we have tried to capture them mainly using natural light in their own setting. Some images are then enhanced using cutting edge graphics software ... others are as they have been shot ... naturally beautiful.
